Flight Departures at Lille Airport

Lille Airport lies just 7 km from the city of Lille, and is easily accessible by road. Airport Shuttles run regularly from Lille city center, where they start from the main train station, and the metro/tram station.

Getting to Lille Airport

Taxis also run to and from the airport, offering a variety of vehicles, from basic on Tarif A (0.95 euros per km) to sedans costing 2.44 euros per kilometer traveled.

ASM Taxis (tel +33 6 46 50 87 23), Taxi Lille Premium (tel +33 6 25 17 80 45) and Taxi Flandres (tel +33 6 05 05 05 01) are just three of many taxi firms offering transfers to Lille Airport. From the city center a trip costs ca 25.00 euros during the day, and 28.00 to 30.00 euros at night. Travelling by taxi from Roubaix or Tourcoing costs ca. 35.00 euros during the day, and 40.00 euros at night.

Several car rental providers have their rental stations outside the Arrivals zone of Lille Airport, offering affordable car rental agreements that are suitable for business and leisure travel. They include Alamo and Avis, Budget, Enterprise and Europcar, Hertz, National, Sixt and Thrifty.

If you're travelling from Paris to Lille, there are Flixbus services that take just 2.25 hours going directly from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Lille. Prices start at just 4.99 euros per person. TGV trains offer high-speed hourly train services between Lille and Paris. Eurostar trains connect Lille with Brussels and Paris, as well as London.

Lille Airport Parking

Car rental companies like Alamo and Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, Nationalcar, Sixt and Thrifty have their own parking areas at Lille Airport.

Passengers arriving with their own cars can get the first 15 minutes of parking for free at parking lot P2, the short-term parking facility at Lille Airport. The first hour of parking costs 3.50 euros, a full day costs 25.00 euros at P2. Long-term parking is handled in P1, where parking for 8 days costs just 42.00 euros, and parking for 15 days costs 75.00 euros. Ticket machines are located on Level 2 in the Departure hall near the lifts, and 3 machines are also located on Level 0 in the entrance/exit hall. At the parking lot exits there are booths where motorists can pay by credit card.

Long-term parking at Lille Airport must be reserved in advance. Short-term parking doesn't have to be reserved in P2, P3 or P4. Only the latter of these offers covered parking.

Lille Airport Shuttles

Lille Airport Shuttle buses start from the front of the CIC building at Gare Lille Europe train station, which overlooks the Place des Buisses. They also leave from “Lille Flanders” metro/tram station in the city center. Airport shuttles take ca 20 minutes to arrive at Lille Airport.

Passengers are dropped off near the check-in desks in the Departure area. Tickets can only be bought on the buses. Singles cost 8.00 euros per person, return tickets 10.00 euros per person. The airport shuttles run daily, including Sundays and public holidays.

The first airport shuttle leaves Gare Lille Europe at 05.10 in the morning, then runs hourly until 20.00.

Lille Airport Terminal Services

If you require change, there are two change machines, which can be found in the Main Hall on Level 2, opposite the Information Desk, and in the Departure Lounge near the Drinks Dispenser machine and Fast Food area. Change is only issued in cents/Euros.

Luggage trolleys are free of charge and have their own bay in the car parking lots, the drop-off area facing the terminal and in Arrivals. You will need a token or 1.00 euro to use these trolleys. The coin will be released once you have finished using the trolley.

ATMs: On Level 2 there is one in the Main Hall, opposite the Information Desk. The ATM only issues Euros, no other currencies.

Lille Airport offers families a parent's room and the Pic Wic children's play area in the Departure Lounge. A number of educational toys and games can be found there, which should suit all ages of children.

Business travelers can connect to the WiFi network Lille Airport provides nearly anywhere in the terminal. There are also free quiet work spaces on the Mezzanine floor near the airport's Business Center, and in the Departure Lounge, near Gates 4 and 5. The first 15 minutes of WiFi use are free, passengers only need to connect to the “WIFI-AIRPORT” network to get online.

Power sockets to recharge mobile devices can be found at the counter of the Jardin Pamplemousse Bar and in the work areas mentioned.

For last minute postal services there is a post-box in the Main Hall on Level 2, next to the ATM machine. Mail is collected every day for both French and overseas mail.

Duty free shopping, a bar, cafe and restaurant are also provided in the terminal. Cafe, bar and restaurant are located on the Mezzanine level in the Main Hall, they overlook Departures.

If you still have time to spare prior to your scheduled flight: Lille Airport offers passengers a quiet area to relax at the Salon Louis Blériot, where they can enjoy cold and hot drinks and snacks. The Lounge is adjacent to the Duty Free shopping area. Sockets for recharging mobile devices and Internet connections are available at Salon Louis Blériot too.
