Flight Arrivals at Lille Airport

Located just 7 km distance from the city, Lille Airport is the gateway to the Nord-Pas de Calais region of northern France. Sometimes referred to as Lille-Lesquin Airport, the airport is easy to get to thanks to hourly and half-hourly airport shuttles and a considerable number of taxi firms that offer their services. During the day, a taxi ride from the airport to central Lille locations costs 25.00 euros, at night this increases to 30.00 euros. Travelling from Lille Airport to Gare Lille Europe train station or the metro and tram station, Gare Lille Flanders, costs 25.00 euros during the day, and at night 28.00 euros.

Buses at Lille Airport:

Lille Airport Shuttle buses halt in front of the CIC building at Gare Lille Europe train station, which overlooks the Place des Buisses. It's also possible to catch the airport shuttle near the station and from “Lille Flanders” metro and tram station.

At the airport, the Lille Airport Shuttle can be picked up in the drop-off zone, where Entrance A is located, near the check-in desks and Departure zones. Tickets can only be purchased from the driver on board the shuttles. Singles cost 8.00 euros per person, return tickets cost 10.00 euros per person.

The Lille Airport Shuttle takes ca 20 minutes to reach the city, depending on traffic. Airport shuttles run every day of the year, including public holidays and Sundays.

From the city center train station the Lille Airport Shuttle starts at 05.10, running on an hourly service until 20.00. From Lille Airport the shuttle leaves at 05.30, running on an hourly service until 14.30, after which a 30-minute schedule takes over until 20.30. The final Lille Airport Shuttle of the day runs at 22.30.

Lille Airport Arrivals

Arrivals are handled on Level 2 of the single terminal. The terminal at Lille offers passengers a quiet area, Wifi throughout the public areas, a parent's room and children's play area, restrooms, an ATM and change machine, car ticket machines for the parking lots, PRM call posts, Meeting Point, information desk, and postal service. A cafe, bar and restaurant are also present at the terminal, as is a newsagents selling newspapers, magazines and tobacco.

Lille City Center Transport

Flixbus runs from the train station in the center of the city to various locations in France, Belgium and the Netherlands, for example to Dunkirk, Ghent, Brussels, Charlesroi, Antwerp, Rotterdam, The Hague and Eindhoven. Eurostar trains link Lille with Paris, Brussels and London. Regular high-speed TGV trains leave Lille for Paris throughout the day, taking just one hour to arrive.
